To Generate Reports on Food & Beverage Items:
- Click on "Reports" in the main navigation menu on the left side of your screen.
- Scroll to the "Food & Beverage Reporting" heading.
- There are 3 different types of reports you can generate from your Planning Pod account:
- Food & Beverage Packages Summary Report
- Food & Beverages Packages Detailed Report
- Food & Beverage Items Report
- Click on any of those links to run the corresponding report.
In these reports, you have the option to filter by:
- Time frame
- Meal Type (view by clicking Use Advanced Filters)
- Order Type (view by clicking Use Advanced Filters)
Food & Beverage Packages Summary Report
In this report, you have the option to filter by:
- Time frame
- Meal Type (view by clicking Use Advanced Filters)
- Order Type (view by clicking Use Advanced Filters)
This link will generate a report on food & beverage packages that you have used. When you hit "Run Report", a .CSV file including the following information will generate:
- Package Name
- Quantity
- Cost
- Subtotal
- Tax
- Markup
- Total
You will also see a "Totals" row at the bottom of the .CSV indicating overall totals for each F&B package in every category.
For a more detailed report including information about when and to whom you sold these packages, select the Food & Beverage Packages Detailed Report.
Food & Beverages Packages Detailed Report
In this report, you also have the option to filter by:
- Time frame
- Meal Type (view by clicking Use Advanced Filters)
- Order Type (view by clicking Use Advanced Filters)
The basic metrics on this report are the same as the Food & Beverage Packages Summary Report, but this one provides much greater detail. It displays which individual events used each package, along with the time of year they occurred. This can be a big help in planning and marketing your packages.
Food & Beverage Items Report
In this report, you have the option to filter by:
- Time frame
- Characteristic
- Category
This report provides detailed information on individual food & beverage items. Because it includes wholesale vs. menu price details, it's also where you want to go in order to calculate profit margins on those items. When you hit "Run Report", a .CSV file including the following information will generate:
- Food & Beverage Items
- Category
- Quantity of each item ordered in the time period you've chosen
- Wholesale cost
- Menu price
- Characteristics
- Serving styles
