Planning Pod has provided direct connectivity to other applications so you can import information directly from those applications into Planning Pod.
At this time, you can connect to Google Drive/Docs, Salesforce, MailChimp and Constant Contact to:
- Import contacts from these applications into the Planning Pod Contacts tool.
- Import contacts from these applications into the Attendee List tool located inside each Event.
- Export contacts from the Planning Pod Contacts tool to these applications.
- Export contacts from an Attendee List inside an Event to these applications.
In addition, you can connect to Google Drive/Docs and Dropbox to:
- Create links to files in those applications inside the Planning Pod Files tool (located inside each Event).
You can manage the connections to these applications inside the Settings area (with the exclusion of Dropbox, which you must connect to directly inside the Files tool).
To Manage Direct Connections to Other Applications:
- Click on your name in the top left corner and select the "Settings" option.
- Under the "Data Sharing" heading, click on the "Connect to Other Applications" link.
- Find the application you wish to connect to and click on the "Connect" link/button.
- Click on the "Authorize" button in the modal window and follow the instructions presented on screen. You may be asked to log into the application and/or give permission for Planning Pod to import/share information with that application.
To Revoke Direct Access to Other Applications:
- Click on your name in the top left corner and select the "Settings" option.
- Under the "Data Sharing" heading, click on the "Connect to Other Applications" link.
- Find the application you wish to revoke access to and click on the "Revoke" link/button.
