Configuring the Time Zone and Date/Time Format

When you first log into your Planning Pod account, you are asked to identify your time zone. In addition, when each of your Users first logs into your account, they are also asked to identify their time zone.

After this point, you can change the time zone that accompanies your login.

To Change Your Time Zone:

  1. Click on "Settings" in the top navigation bar.
  2. Find the "Date, Time and Time Zone" box and click "Manage This Setting".
  3. Click the "Update" button.
  4. In the "Timezone" field, type in your time zone.
    • If you live in the United States, start by typing in "US".
    • If you live in Canada, start by typing in "Canada".
    • If you live in the UK, start by typing in "UK".
    • If you live in a European country, start by typing in "Europe".
    • If you live in Australia or New Zealand, start by typing in "Australia" or "NZ", respectively.
    • If you live anywhere else, start by typing in the name of your country.
  5. Click "Save" when you are finished.

In addition, if you live outside of North America or in Quebec, you can change the format of your dates/times from MM/DD/YYYY TO DD/MM/YYYY or from 12-hour time (i.e., AM/PM) to 24-hour time (i.e., military time).

To Change Date/Time Settings:

  1. Click on "Settings" in the top navigation bar.
  2. Find the "Date, Time and Time Zone" box and click "Manage This Setting".
  3. Click the "Update" button.
    • To change the date setting, click on the "Date Format" dropdown menu and select your preferred setting.
    • To change the time setting, click on the "Time Format" dropdown menu and select your preferred setting.
  4. Click "Save" when you are finished.
