Adding/Managing Image Panels

You can add large, single-image panels to an Event Website to add color and life to a site. By default, we provide you with an image panel at the top of every new Event Website, and you can modify, move or delete this panel as well as add additional image panels to a site. You can also add an image panel with text or without text.

To Add an Image Panel to an Event Website:

1. Click on the "Event Website" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Event Website" tool.
2. Click the "Add New Panel" button.
3. Under "Add Image Panel", select either the "With Text" or "Without Text" option depending on your preference.
4. The new panel will be added to the top of the Event Website and you can move or modify this panel using the panel controls next to the panel.
5. To add an image to a newly created image panel:
• Click on the "Image" button in the panel controls next to the panel.
• Follow the instructions to select an image file to download from your computer. The image will be uploaded momentarily.

IMPORTANT: WHEN ADDING AN IMAGE TO AN IMAGE PANEL...

• Recommended image size is 1024 pixels by 768 pixels.
• A file name cannot contain any of the following characters: \ / : * ? < > |
• Maximum file size for images is 2.55 MB. If your file is too large, you will need to edit the image to shrink the image size.

To Manage/Modify an Image Panel:

1. Click on the "Event Website" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Event Website" tool.
2. Find the appropriate image panel and the panel controls next to the panel.
3. To add/change the image in an image panel:
• Click on the "Image" button.
• Follow the instructions to select an image file to download from your computer. The image will be uploaded momentarily.
4. To move an image panel:
• Click on the "Move Panel" button and select the desired option (move up one, move down one, move to top, move to bottom).
5. To change the text and text color in an image panel:
• Click on the "Text" button.
• Add/modify the headline and subhead in the panel and select the headline and subhead colors.
• Click "Save" when you are finished.
6. To remove an image panel:
• Click on the "Remove Panel" button.
• NOTE: This will permanently delete the panel and its associated image and text. There is no way to recover this deleted information.
