Creating/Using Worksheet Templates

Video Tip - Go to the 2:06 mark of the video to view information on how to work with Worksheet Templates.

You can use Worksheets to collect and organize details for many areas of your event - transportation, entertainment, speakers, audio/visual, catering, decor, floral, sponsorships, photography/videography, volunteers, rentals, wedding parties and much more.

You can create Templates for these items (like the sample Worksheet Templates we have provided in all trial accounts) to simplify entering details.

To Create a New Worksheet Template from Scratch:

  1. Click on "Templates" in the main navigation bar and click on the "Worksheets Templates" link.
  2. Click on the "Add Template" button.
  3. Enter the Worksheet name and click "Save".

This brings you to the Worksheet Template details screen where you can:

  • Edit/Add Template Details - Click on the "Edit Template" button; add and format your text; and click the "Save" button when finished.
  • Rename the Template - Click on the "Rename Template" button; edit the name; and click "Save".
  • Delete the Template - Click on the "Delete" button.

To Create a Worksheet Template from an Existing Worksheet:

  1. Click on the "Worksheets" tool button in the Event Dashboard.
  2. Click on the "Import/Export" button and select the "Save as Template" option.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select the Worksheet that you wish to save as a Template.
  4. After clicking "Save", the selected Worksheet will be saved as a new Template, which you can now edit and modify in the Templates area.

To Import a Worksheet Template into a New Worksheet:

  1. Click on the "Worksheets" tool button in the Event Dashboard.
  2. Click on the "Import/Export" button and select the "Import Template as New Worksheet" option.
  3. From the dropdown menu, select a Worksheet Template that you wish to import as a new Worksheet.
  4. After clicking "Save", the selected Template will be saved as a new Worksheet. It will include all details from the Template, which you can now edit and modify.
