Adding Vendors to an Event Vendor List

By creating a Vendor List for your Events, you can:

  • Track all your Vendors for the Event in one centralized place.
  • Assign the Vendors on the list to items inside the Event (including Budget Line Items, Itinerary Line Items and Worksheets).

NOTE: Adding Vendors to the Event Vendor List DOES NOT give these Vendors access to your account or to the Event. To assign Vendors to the Event and give them access to it, you need to also assign them as a Contact to the Event.

Once you have added a Vendor to an Event, you can view their information by clicking on the "Vendors" link in the left subnavigation box and clicking on their name.

To Add a Vendor to an Event's Vendor List:

  1. Click on "Events" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the appropriate Event and click on it to open the Event Dashboard.
  3. In the left subnavigation box, click on the "Vendors" link and click the "Manage" button.
  4. If the Vendor you are assigning has already been added as a Contact, find them in the "Contact List" area and click on the "Add" button next to their name.
  5. If the Vendor you are assigning has not been added as a Contact, click on the "Add New Contact" button to add them to the list.
  6. Click on your browser's "back" button to return to the Event Dashboard.

To Remove a Vendor From a Vendor List:

  1. Click on "Events" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the appropriate Event and click on it to open the Event Dashboard.
  3. In the left subnavigation box, click on the "Vendors" link and click the "Manage" button.
  4. Find the Contact in the "Vendor List" area and click on the "Remove" button.
  5. Click on your browser's "back" button to return to the Event Dashboard.

NOTE: You can use the checkbox next to "Show Vendor Details Inside Event" to display/hide the contact information for the Vendors on the list.

To Download a PDF of the Vendor List:

  1. Click on "Events" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the appropriate Event and click on it to open the Event Dashboard.
  3. In the left subnavigation box, click on the "Vendors" link and click the "PDF" button. The file will download momentarily.
