Linking a Proposal to an Event

NOTE: For all Planning Pod users prior to December 2015, you can use this method to link an existing Proposal to an Event.

If you create a Proposal from inside an Event, the Proposal will automatically be linked to the Event. However, if you create a Proposal from the main Proposals section (in the main navigation bar), you have the option to link or not to link the Proposal to an Event.

To Link a Proposal to an Event:

  1. Click on "Proposals" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the Proposal you want to link to an Event and click on "Open".
  3. Find the "Link to Event" box and click on the link icon in the top right corner of the box.
  4. Using the dropdown menu, select the Event you want to link the Proposal to and click on "Save".
  5. The Proposal is now linked to the Event and will be visible when you click on the Proposals tool button from the Event Dashboard.

To Remove a Linked Proposal From an Event:

  1. Click on "Proposals" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the Proposal you want to unlink and click on the "Open" link.
  3. Find the "Link to Event" box and click on "Remove Link to Event". The Proposal will immediately be unlinked and will no longer be associated with the Event.
