Linking a Proposal to an Event or Lead

If you create a Proposal from inside an Event or Lead, the Proposal will automatically be linked to the Event/Lead. However, if you create a Proposal from the main Proposals section (in the main navigation bar), you have the option to link or not to link the Proposal to an Event or Lead.

To Link a Proposal to an Event or Lead:

1. Click on "Proposals" in the main navigation bar.
2. Find the Proposal you want to link to an Event/Lead and click on it.
3. Find the "Event Link" area and click on the "Link to Event" button.
4. Using the dropdown menu, select the Event or Lead you want to link the Proposal to and click on "Save".
5. The Proposal is now linked to the Event/Lead and will be visible when you click on the Proposals tool button from the Event or Lead Dashboard.

To Remove a Linked Proposal From an Event or Lead:

1. Click on "Proposals" in the main navigation bar.
2. Find the Proposal you want to unlink and click on it.
3. Find the "Event Link" area and click on "Remove Link". The Proposal will immediately be unlinked and will no longer be associated with the Event/Lead.
