Adding Vendors to a Lead Vendor List

By creating a Vendor List for your Leads, you can track all the tentative Vendors for the Lead in one centralized place.

NOTE: Adding Vendors to the Lead Vendor List DOES NOT give these Vendors access to your account or to the Lead. To assign Vendors to the Lead and give them access to it, you need to assign them as a Contact to the Lead.

To Add a Vendor to a Lead's Vendor List:

  1. Click on "Leads" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the appropriate Lead and click on the "Open" link for that Lead.
  3. Find the "Vendor List" box and click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of that area.
  4. If the Vendor you are assigning has already been added as a Contact, find them in the "Contact List" area and click on the "Add to Vendor List" link next to their name.
  5. If the Vendor you are assigning has not been added as a Contact, click on the "Add New Contact Now" button to add them as a Contact and add them to the list.
  6. Click on your browser's "back" button to return to the Lead Dashboard.

To Remove a Vendor From a Vendor List:

  1. Click on "Leads" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the appropriate Lead and click on the "Open" link for that Lead.
  3. Find the "Vendor List" box and click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of that area.
  4. Find the Contact in the "Lead Vendor List" area and click on the "Remove" link.
  5. Click on your browser's "back" button to return to the Lead Dashboard.

NOTE: You can use the checkbox next to "Show Vendor details inside Lead" to display/hide the contact information for the Vendors on the list.
