You can use the Filter and Advanced Search features (located in the top center of the Leads Main Section Overview page) to sort Leads based on search parameters as well as create default and saved searches for things that you search for frequently.
You can sort Leads in two ways:
- Quick filter the Leads currently on-screen using a name, word or phrase.
- Advanced Search across all Leads based on one or more search criteria.
To Conduct a Quick Filter of Leads On-Screen:
- Click on "Leads" in the main navigation bar.
- In the Filter field, type in the name/word/phrase/date/status that you want to search for with regard to the name of the prospective event or start/end date, and the date when the Lead was captured/entered. Any Leads appearing on-screen with those names/words/phrases/dates/statuses associated with them will appear below.
To Conduct an Advanced Search of All Leads:
- Click on "Leads" in the main navigation bar.
- Click on the "Advanced Search" button to search across all Leads for the following criteria:
- Prospective Event Name
- Status - Open, Holds, Open + Holds, Closed
- Sorted By - Event Date (ascending or descending), Captured Date (ascending or descending), Alphabetical
- When the Prospective Event occurs (next 7 days, 14 days, etc.)
- Tags
- When the Lead was captured (past 7 days, 14 days, etc.)
- When the Lead was closed (past 7 days, 14 days, etc.)
- After you have selected your criteria, click the "Search Now" button.
To Save an Advanced Search and Create a Default Search:
NOTE: A default search will be the default results that are shown every time you click on the "Leads" link in the main navigation bar. So if you want your Leads sorted by Event Name, Prospective Event Date, or Lead Capture Date by default, you can set that here.
- Complete the search steps for conducting an Advanced Search outlined above.
- Once the search runs, find the "Currently Viewing" area and click on the "Save This Search" link and name the search.
- If you wish to make this the default search, click in the checkbox provided.
- Click "Save" when you are finished.
