Using Square Tables

To Add Square Tables:

  1. Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
  2. Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on the "Open" button next to it.
  3. On the Floorplan Dashboard, make sure the "Tools" tab in the left column is selected and click on the "Seating & Trade Show" option.
  4. Click-and-hold on the square table icon and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan palette (you can always move/adjust it later).
  5. A form will appear that lets you add:
    • Table name/number
    • Chair type
    • Table color
    • Table dimension (the length of a single side, as all sides are equal for a square)
    • Service area dimension
    • Number of chairs on top, right, bottom and left sides
  6. Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the table by dragging-and-dropping it.

To Edit a Square Table:

  1. Click on the appropriate table.
  2. An "actions" menu will drop down from the top of the browser window. Select the "Edit" option; make your changes; and click "Save".

To Duplicate a Square Table:

If you need to create one or more copies of a square table...

  1. Click on the appropriate table.
  2. An "actions" menu will drop down from the top of the browser window. Select the "Duplicate" option; select the number of duplicate copies you need; and click the "Duplicate Now" button.
  3. The duplicated tables will be fanned out on top of each other so you can start dragging them to where you want to place them on the Floorplan palette.

To Delete a Square Table:

  1. Click on the appropriate table.
  2. An "actions" menu will drop down from the top of the browser window. Select the "Delete" option and confirm you wish to delete the element.
