Video Tip - Go to the 6:11 mark of the video to view information on adding square tables to Floorplans and manipulating them.
You can add square tables one at a time or in multiples with a grid or staggered layout pattern for a quick way to build a layout of the same table type. You can also quickly make edits to a single square table or to multiple square tables at the same time.
To Add a Single Square Table From the Library:
- Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
- Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
- On the Floorplan Dashboard, select the "Library" tab in the left column and click on the "Tables & Seating" icon .
- Click-and-hold on the appropriate icon for the square table you want and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust it later).
- A form will appear that lets you edit:
- Color
- Label
- Table number
- Ability to add multiple tables (covered below)
- Clear area width (clear space from top to bottom of table)
- Clear area length (clear space from left to right of table)
- Chair type
- Number of chairs on each side of the table (top, bottom, right and left)
- Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the table by dragging-and-dropping it.
To Add a Custom Square Table:
If you cannot find the correct dimensions of your square table in our standard element library, you can create your own custom-sized square table.

- A form will appear that lets you edit:

- Table number
- Ability to add multiple tables (covered below)
- Clear area diameter (since squares have equal sides, the measurement you enter will be the same top-to-bottom as left-to-right)
- Table width (since squares have equal sides, this measurement you enter will apply to each side)
- Chair type
- Number of chairs on each side of the table (top, bottom, right and left)
- Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the table by dragging-and-dropping it.
To Add Multiple Square Tables in a Pattern:
NOTE: This option is if you want to add multiple rows of tables (and multiple tables in each row) at a single time and have them automatically laid out in a grid or staggered.
- Click-and-hold on the appropriate icon for the square table you want to use and drag it to where you want to place your table pattern on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust all tables in the pattern later).
- In the form that appears, click on the "Add Multiple Tables" checkbox.
- Type in the number of rows you desire, the number of tables per row and the format style (grid style will line up all tables with each other, staggered style will offset the table rows).
- In the "Starting Table Number" field, add the first number you wish your table layout to begin with.
- In the "Clear Area Width/Length" fields, add the amount of clear space that will surround each table. NOTE: This clear area will determine how far apart the tables are spaced from each other in the pattern you select.
- Add the label, chair type and number of chairs that you want to apply to all tables in the pattern.
- Click "Save" when you are finished. All the tables will be automatically selected, so you can click on one and drag the entire group of tables to where you wish to place them.
