Adding/Managing Floorplans

To Add a New Floorplan:

  1. Go to the Events area of your account by clicking on "Events" in the main navigation bar, and then select the appropriate Event where you want to add/manage a floorplan. (And if you haven't created an Event yet, click on the "Add/Duplicate Event" button to add a new Event.)
  2. Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
  3. Click on the "Add Floorplan" button.
  4. Add the Floorplan name and the dimensions where the room is at its widest and longest (in feet/inches).
    • PRO TIP: These dimensions are the canvas on which you will be creating your layout. Give yourself a little extra space on your canvas for outward-opening doors, notes and other items that may lay "outside" the room.
    • If your space is not a square or rectangle and/or does not have 90 degree corners, the width you should enter is where your space is at its widest, and the length should be where your space is at its longest, plus a few feet. Then, if you have an outline/diagram file of the space, you can upload and scale it - OR - draw the outline of your room.
  5. Click "Save".

This brings you to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can start dragging-and-dropping design elements onto your Floorplan, including tables, chairs, furniture, floors/stages, walls, A/V equipment, lighting, booths, tents and much more. You can also add a background image  or draw your room outline.

To Edit a Floorplan:

  1. Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
  2. Find the Floorplan you wish to edit/modify and click on it.
  3. This takes you to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can modify/add elements to the Floorplan as well as download PDFs of the design you create.
