Using Round Tables

Video Tip - Go to the 0:16 min mark of the video to view information on adding and managing these elements.

You can add round tables one at a time or in multiples with a grid or staggered layout pattern for a quick way to build a layout of the same table type. You can also quickly make edits to a single round table or to multiple round tables at the same time.

To Add a Single Round Table From the Library:

  1. Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
  2. Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
  3. On the Floorplan Dashboard, select the "Library" tab in the left column and click on the "Tables & Seating" icon TablesSeatingIcon.png.
  4. Click-and-hold on the appropriate icon for the round table you want and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust it later).
  5. A form will appear that lets you edit:
    • Color
    • Label
    • Table number
    • Ability to add multiple tables (covered below)
    • Clear area diameter (clear space around the table)
    • Number of chairs (cocktail tables do not have a chair option)
    • Chair type
    • Seating style (evenly spaced or cabaret 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4)
  6. Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the table by dragging-and-dropping it.

To Add a Custom Round Table:
If you cannot find the correct dimensions of your round table in our standard element library, you can create your own custom-sized round table.

  5. A form will appear that lets you edit:
    • Color
    • Label
    • Table number
    • Ability to add multiple tables (covered below)

  6. Type in the number of rows you desire, the number of tables per row and the format style (grid style will line up all tables with each other, offset style will stagger the tables).
  7. In the "Starting Table Number" field, add the first number you wish your table layout to begin with.
  8. In the "Clear Area Diameter" field, add the amount of clear space that will surround each table. NOTE: This clear area will determine how far apart the tables are spaced from each other in the pattern you select.
  9. Add the label, number of chairs, chair type and seating style (evenly spaced or cabaret 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4) that you want to apply to all tables in the pattern.
