Our event layout software platform lets you add dance floors / portable floors, stages and entertainment items like DJ booths, band setups, photo booths, pianos, podiums and microphones items. You can customize the width and depth of these items to match your actual setup and dimensions of your entertainment equipment.
To Add a Floor (Dance Floor, Portable Floor, etc.):
- Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
- Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
- On the Floorplan Dashboard, select the "Library" tab in the left column and click on the "Floors, Stages and Entertainment" icon .
- Click-and-hold on the appropriate floor element (Tiled Floor or Solid Floor) you want and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust it later).
- A form will appear that lets you edit:
- Color
- Label
- Tile height/width, tiles across and tiles down for Tiled Floor - OR - width and depth for Solid Floor
- Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the item by dragging-and-dropping it.
To Add a Stage:
- Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
- Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
- On the Floorplan Dashboard, select the "Library" tab in the left column and click on the "Furniture" icon .
- Click-and-hold on the appropriate stage element (stage with straight front, rounded front or angled front) you want and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust it later).
- A form will appear that lets you edit:
- Color
- Label
- Width and depth of the stage
- Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the item by dragging-and-dropping it.
To Add a DJ Table, Band Area or Photo Booth:
- Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
- Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
- On the Floorplan Dashboard, select the "Library" tab in the left column and click on the "Furniture" icon .
- Click-and-hold on the appropriate element you want and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust it later).
- A form will appear that lets you edit:
- Color
- Label
- Width and depth of the element
- Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the item by dragging-and-dropping it.
To Add a Piano, Podium or Microphone With Stand:
- Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
- Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
- On the Floorplan Dashboard, select the "Library" tab in the left column and click on the "Furniture" icon .
- Click-and-hold on the appropriate element you want and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan canvas (you can always move/adjust it later).
- A form will appear that lets you edit:
- Color
- Label
- Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the item by dragging-and-dropping it.
To Edit/Duplicate/Delete a Single Element:
- Click on the appropriate element on the canvas.
- A dynamic menu of editing options will appear in the top-left of the canvas. To make an edit, click on the appropriate item. From left to right, the options include:
- Favorite - Adds the selected item to your Favorites library.
- Edit - Opens the editing modal window.
- Rotate - Lets you rotate the item up to 360 degrees.
- Duplicate - Copies the item.
- Color - Changes the color of the item.
- Delete - Deletes the item.
- Bring to Front - Places the item on top of overlapping elements.
- Send to Back - Places the item behind overlapping elements.
To Edit/Duplicate/Delete/Realign Multiple Elements:
- Click on the first element you want to edit and then hold down on the "shift" key to select additional elements to edit - OR - click-and-drag your cursor over all the elements you wish to edit.
- A dynamic menu of editing options will appear in the top-left of the canvas. To make an edit, click on the appropriate item. From left to right, the options include:
- Rotate - Lets you rotate the items up to 360 degrees.
- Duplicate - Copies the items.
- Color - Changes the color of the items.
- Delete - Deletes the items.
- Bring to Front - Places the items on top of overlapping elements.
- Send to Back - Places the items behind overlapping elements.
- The rest of the options relate to re-aligning the selected items:
- Align Left - Aligns all selected items with the furthest item to the left.
- Align Horizontal Center - Centers all selected items horizontally at the point between the two items to the furthest left and furthest right.
- Align Right - Aligns all selected items with the furthest item to the right.
- Align Top - Aligns all selected items with the item closest to the top.
- Align Vertical Center - Centers all selected items vertically at the point between the two items closest to the top and bottom.
- Align Bottom - Aligns all selected items with the item closest to the bottom.
- Distribute Horizontally - Equally distributes the selected items horizontally (left to right) between the two items furthest to the left and furthest to the right.
- Distribute Vertically - Equally distributes the selected items vertically (top to bottom) between the two items closest to the top and bottom.
