Using Floors and Stages

To Add a Tiled Floor:

  1. Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
  2. Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
  3. On the Floorplan Dashboard, make sure the "Tools" tab in the left column is selected and scroll down to the "Floors, Stages and Entertainment" section.
  4. Click-and-hold on the tiled floor icon and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan palette (you can always move/adjust it later).
  5. A form will appear that lets you add:
    • Element name
    • Color
    • Width and height of each tile
    • Number of tiles across and down
  6. Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the element by dragging-and-dropping it.

To Add a Solid Floor, Square Stage or Rounded Stage:

  1. Click on the "Floorplans" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Floorplans" tool.
  2. Find the appropriate Floorplan to which you want to add elements and click on it.
  3. On the Floorplan Dashboard, make sure the "Tools" tab in the left column is selected and scroll down to the "Floors, Stages and Entertainment" section.
  4. Click-and-hold on the appropriate icon (solid floor, square stage or rounded stage) and drag it to where you want to place it on the Floorplan palette (you can always move/adjust it later).
  5. A form will appear that lets you add:
    • Element name
    • Color
    • Width and depth
  6. Click "Save" when you are finished. You will be taken back to the Floorplan Dashboard where you can view and adjust the position of the element by dragging-and-dropping it.

To Edit One of These Elements:

  1. Click on the appropriate element in the Floorplan.
  2. An "Actions" menu will appear. Select the "Edit" option; make your changes; and click "Save".

To Duplicate One of These Elements:

If you need to create one or more copies of one of the above elements you have added...

  1. Click on the appropriate element in Floorplan.
  2. An "Actions" menu will appear. Select the "Duplicate" option; select the number of duplicate copies you need; and click the "Duplicate Now" button.
  3. The duplicated elements will be fanned out on top of each other so you can start dragging them to where you want to place them on the Floorplan palette.

To Delete One of These Elements:

  1. Click on the appropriate element in the Floorplan.
  2. An "Actions" menu will appear. Select the "Delete" option and confirm you wish to delete the element.
