Adding a Personal Sub-Calendar

One of the types of sub-calendars in the Calendars tool are Personal sub-calendars.

These are ad-hoc sub-calendars that you can create on the fly for various purposes. They are not related or attached to Events or Leads, and many people use them to track internal or administrative appointments and details. Personal sub-calendars can also be shared with other users.

NOTE: By default, we automatically provide each user with their own Personal sub-calendar to start with, and this sub-calendar cannot be deleted or removed.

To Create a Personal Sub-Calendar:

  1. Click on "Calendars" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the "Personal" box and click the "+" icon in the top right corner.
  3. Enter the name of the sub-calendar and select a color for the calendar.
  4. If you want to share this sub-calendar with other users, click in the "Share with" field and select one or more contacts with whom you want to share this sub-calendar with.
  5. Click "Save" when you are finished.

To Edit/Manage a Personal Sub-Calendar:

  1. Click on "Calendars" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the Personal sub-calendar you wan to edit; click on the down-arrow icon next to the name of the sub-calendar; and select the "Edit" option.
  3. Make your changes and click "Save" when you are finished.

To Delete a Personal Sub-Calendar:

  1. Click on "Calendars" in the main navigation bar.
  2. Find the Personal sub-calendar you wan to delete; click on the down-arrow icon next to the name of the sub-calendar; and select the "Delete" option.
  3. Click on the "Delete Now" button to confirm.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: When you delete a sub-calendar, it will delete all calendar items that have been added to that sub-calendar.
