Video Tip - Go to the 5:01 mark of the video to view information on Calendar import/export options, including syncing to other e-calendars.
Inside the Calendars tool, you can:
- Connect your Planning Pod Calendar to another e-calendar so that your Planning Pod Calendar items appear in your other calendar (refresh rates may vary depending on your e-calendar of choice).
- Note that this is a one-way sync of your Planning Pod Calendar items to another e-calendar and WILL NOT pull your other e-calendar items into Planning Pod. All synced Planning Pod calendar items will be view-only in your other e-calendar.
- This feature is compatible with most other e-calendars that support the iCal format, including Google, Apple and Yahoo.
- Import calendar items from another e-calendar into your Planning Pod calendar via an .ics file.
- Note that this is a one-time import of all the items in the .ics file and will not continually sync new items from your other e-calendar with Planning Pod.
- Export calendar items from your Planning Pod calendar to another e-calendar via an .ics file.
- Note that this is a one-time export of all the current items in your Planning Pod Calendar and will not continually sync new items from Planning Pod to your other e-calendar.

To Import Calendar Items From Another E-Calendar into Planning Pod (via .ics file)
NOTE: Before you begin this process, you will need to export/download the .ics file from your existing e-calendar.
- Click on "Calendars" in the main navigation bar.
- Click on the "Import/Export" button and select the "Import (.ics file)" option.
- Select the Planning Pod sub-calendar that you want to add the imported calendar items into.
- NOTE: If you want these imported items to be placed in their own sub-calendar, you will need to add a new Personal sub-calendar before starting this import process. Once you do that, you can add the imported items to the newly created Personal sub-calendar.
- Click the "Choose File" button and select the .ics file on your computer.
- The calendar items from the .ics file will be uploaded momentarily.
NOTE: You can also import calendar items with an .ics file in the "Settings / Import from Files" area of your account.
To Export Calendar Items From Planning Pod to Another E-Calendar (via .ics file)
- Click on "Calendars" in the main navigation bar.
- Click on the "Import/Export" button and select the "Export (.ics file)" option.
- The .ics file will download to your computer momentarily. You can then import this .ics file into your other e-calendar.
- NOTE: This is a one-time download of all the current items in your Planning Pod calendar. When you import this into another e-calendar, it will only load the current items and it will not sync any new items you subsequently add to your Planning Pod calendar.
