Adding/Managing To-Do's

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you assign a Contact to a To-Do, you first must assign that Contact to the Event or Lead to which you are adding the To-Do.

To Add a To-Do (in an Event or Lead):

  1. Click on the "To-Do's" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - click on the "To-Do's" tool button on the Lead Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch tool to select the appropriate Event and the "To-Do's" tool.
  2. Click on the "Add To-Do" button.
  3. Add the to-do name/description; contact assignments; due date; list assignment; reminder date/time; and notes.
  4. Click "Save" when you are finished.

NOTE: The Contacts who are assigned to a To-Do will receive an email notification at 8:00 a.m. on the due date; this is in addition to the reminder email/text alert that you can add.

To Edit a To-Do (in an Event or Lead):

  1. Click on the "To-Do's" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - click on the "To-Do's" tool button on the Lead Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch tool to select the appropriate Event and the "To-Do's" tool.
  2. Find the To-Do in question; click on the "Edit" button; make your changes; and click the "Save" button.

To Delete a To-Do (in an Event or Lead):

  1. Click on the "To-Do's" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - click on the "To-Do's" tool button on the Lead Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch tool to select the appropriate Event and the "To-Do's" tool.
  2. Find the To-Do in question and click on the "Delete" button.

To Add/Manage To-Do's from the Calendars Tool:

You can also use the checkboxes next to To-Do items (or the "Select All Items" button) to make mass modifications to multiple items at the same time. For example, you can mark the selected items as "Complete"; change the due date; modify the assigned Contacts; add/remove from lists; set/remove as "High Priority"; save as a new Template; or delete them.
