Video Tip - Go to the 4:46 mark of the video to view information on adding To-Do's via the Calendars tool.
The To-Do's tool located inside of every Event or Lead is where you can manage all your tasks for that Event/Lead, and those To-Do's can be displayed on the Calendar (provided you have selected "To-Do's" in the filters displayed above your Calendar).
In addition, you can add and manage To-Do's inside the Calendars tool (and those To-Do's will also be added to the To-Do's tool inside the corresponding Event or Lead).
To Add a To-Do from the Calendars Tool:
- Click on "Calendars" in the main navigation bar.
- Click on the "Add To-Do" button - OR - Click on the day where you want to add the To-Do and select the "Add To-Do" option.
- Enter the item name and select the Event or Lead it is related to.
- Next, add the due date; add the item to a To-Do list inside the event (optional); assign Contacts(s) to the To-Do; set a date/time for a reminder and select if you want an email and/or text message reminder; and add any notes. NOTE: Text reminders are only available in North America.
- Click "Save" when you are finished.
NOTE: For To-Do's, all Contacts who are assigned to a To-Do will automatically receive a notification at 8 a.m. on the day that the To-Do is due.
To Edit a To-Do from the Calendars Tool:
- Click on the To-Do in the Calendars tool.
- Make your edits and click on the "Save" button.
To Mark a To-Do as "Completed" from the Calendars Tool:
- Click on the To-Do in the Calendars tool.
- Click on the "Mark as Completed" link at the top of the form.
To Delete a To-Do from the Calendars Tool:
- Click on the To-Do in the Calendars tool.
- Click on the "Delete To-Do" link at the top of the form.
