Using a QR Code Reader App to Check In Ticketed Attendees

Our Check-In tool is compatible with most QR code reader apps available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Windows Phone Store. We recommend using iOS or Android devices when checking attendees in using QR codes.

To Use a QR Code Reader App to Check in Attendees At-The-Door:

  1. Download any QR Code reader from your device's app store.
  2. Open the QR Code reader app and scan a QR Code from a ticket.
  3. You will be directed to the Planning Pod Check-In tool and asked to login. Once you login WITHIN THE QR CODE READER, you will automatically see the attendees from the ticket you just scanned. NOTE: You will only need to login once per check-in session.
  4. Once you check-in your attendee(s), close the check-in window FROM WITHIN THE QR CODE READER APP. You should then see the scanner again and you can scan your next ticket.
