When setting up Lead Capture Forms in Planning Pod, you have the option to add custom fonts to the form headlines, text blocks, and labels. You can find your custom font through Google Fonts and quickly copy and paste the codes to update your text.
How to Add a Custom Font to your Lead Capture Form
1. Log into your Planning Pod account.
2. Click on the "Leads" tab on your Navigation Bar on the left.
3. In the Leads tool, click on "Setup" > "Lead Capture".
4. Click on the Lead Capture Form you want to edit.
5. Scroll to the "Embeddable Form Design" panel. Click the pencil icon to the right of Headline Font, Text Block Font, or Form Label Font.
6. Under "Font Style", select Custom Font. This will open up two text boxes.
7. To find your Google Font and the codes, click on the hyperlink "Google Web Fonts" underneath the Font Family box. Or click here. (This will redirect you to Google Fonts webpage)
8. In Google Fonts: Click on the Font Family you wish you use > click "Get Font" > then Click "Get Embed Code". This will open up two boxes of code.
9. Copy the "Embed Code in the <head> of your html" code and paste the code in the "Google Font CSS Link" box in Planning Pod.
10. Then copy the code for Font: CSS Class. Some fonts might have options of CSS Class codes, based on the font style (Like Bold, Italics, Light, Thin). Find the style of font you want and only select the code under that style. Make sure to copy the items in between the " { } " brackets.
11. Paste that selected code in the "Google Font CSS Font Family" box in Planning Pod. Once you add both codes, it should look something like this:
12: Adjust your font color, pick your font size > then click "Save".
You'll know it was successful because the fonts will change on your form! Continue the same process to update Headlines, text, and labels.
*Please note, the font changes will only effect the website embedded form and the Planning Pod preview of the form. If you use the URL form link, the fonts will not change.
