When creating a lead or adding a new event, you can easily assign clients, staff, vendors, and others, as contacts to the selected lead/event. Quickly add in contacts already in your account or add new contacts on the fly. And once you've added them in, you can easily add labels for your contacts to help keep you, your team, and your clients organized.

Assigning a Contact:
- Click on "Leads" or "Events" in the main navigation bar.
- Find the appropriate Lead/Event and click on it to open the Dashboard.
- Under the "Contacts, Vendors & Venues" area, click on the "Contacts" tab and click on the pencil icon.
- If the person you are assigning has already been added as a Contact in your account, find them in the "Contact List" area and click on the "Assign" button next to their name
- If the person you are assigning has not been added as a Contact, click on the "Add New Contact" button to add them. Here, you have the option to assign them access to an Authorized User Group or to the Client Portal.
- Click on your browser's "back" button to return to the Event Dashboard.
Removing a Contact
- Click on "Leads" or "Events" in the main navigation bar.
- Find the appropriate Lead/Event and click on it to open the Dashboard.
- Under the "Contacts, Vendors & Venues" heading, click on the "Contacts" tab and click on the pencil icon.
- Find the Contact in the "Contacts Assigned to Lead/Event" area and click on the "Remove" button.
- Click on your browser's "back" button to return to the Lead Dashboard.
Assigning Labels
- Click on "Leads" or "Events" in the main navigation bar.
- Find the appropriate Lead/Event and click on it to open the Dashboard.
- Under the "Contacts, Vendors & Venues" heading, click on the "Contacts" tab and click on the pencil icon.
- Find the Contact in the "Contacts Assigned to Lead/Event" area and click on the "Assign Label" field in the selected contact row.
- A drop down menu should appear. Find the right label and click on it. The page will update and that label will show up in the "Assign Label" field for that contact.
Customizing Labels
- In the "Manage Contacts Assigned to Lead/Event Panel, click on the "Customize Labels" in the "Assign Labels" section.
- Add your new labels and click "Save New Label" to add it to the list. Or edit/remove the current labels in your list.
- Click "Return to Contact Assignments" to return to the Lead/Event you were working on.
- Find the Contact in the "Contacts Assigned to Lead/Event" area and click on the "Assign Label" field in the selected contact row.
- A drop down menu should appear with you newly added labels.
