Adding/Using Vision Board Categories

Video Tip - Go to the 1:16 mark of the video to view information on how to use Vision Board categories.

You can create categories to place your Vision Board images into so that you can keep them organized and also create boards for related images.

To view the images in a category, simply click on the category link in the "Categories" area of the Vision Board.

To Add a New Vision Board Category:

  1. Click on the "Vision Board" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Vision Board" tool.
  2. Find the "Categories" area and click on the "Add" button.
  3. Add the category name and click "Save" when you are finished.
  4. Repeat to add additional categories.

To edit the name of a category or delete a category, click on the down arrow button to the right of the category name.

To Assign a Single Image to A Category:

  1. Click on the "Vision Board" tool button on the Event Dashboard - OR - use the Quick Launch or Switch Event tool to select the appropriate Event and the "Vision Board" tool.
  2. Find the appropriate image, click on the "Actions" button and select the "Update Category" option.
  3. Click on the dropdown menu to add the image to a category or remove it from a category.
  4. Click "Save".

To Assign Multiple Images to a Category:

  1. For each image that you want to assign to a category, click on the checkbox at the top of the image.
  2. Once you have selected all images you wish to assign to a category, in the "Available Actions" menu that has appeared, select the "Change Category" option.
  3. Click on the dropdown menu to add the images to a category or remove them from a category.
  4. Click "Save".
