All default information for BEOs in your account is managed in the Account Settings under the "Banquet Event Order (BEO)" area. From this screen you can add/manage default text that automatically populates into text fields in all your event BEOs. Here you can also manage pre-built and custom panels/fields and customize the BEO layout.
There are two types of fields in our BEOs tool:
1. Auto-populating fields that are associated with data from another tool or area in Planning Pod (like standard event information (event name, dates/times, locations, headcounts, etc.), Proposals, Invoices, Contracts, Floorplans, Itinerary or Food & Beverage). These fields sync with those tools/area to automatically pull information from those tools/areas into your BEOs, saving you lots of time.
2. Text fields that are either blank (so you can add information to them for each event) or that contain default text added in the BEO setup area of your account. NOTE: These fields have the label "[Text]" next to the field name.
To Add/Manage Default Text:
- Click on your name in the top left corner and select the "Settings" option.
- Under the "Global Setup" heading, click on the "Banquet Event Order (BEO)" link.
- Optional: If you first need to add a new field to contain your default text, click on the "Add Field" button at the bottom of the panel to which you want to add a custom field. NOTE: You can add a field to an pre-built panel or to a custom panel.
- Find the text field to which you want to add default text; click on the drop-down arrow button to the right of the field; and select "Edit".
- Enter the default text and click "Save" when you are finished.
