When you no longer need an active lead or an Event, you can choose to Archive or close it. This allows you to keep your lead pipeline organized and frees up a space in your Active Events. But, if you need to access information, like files, notes, and more, you'll need to reopen the lead or event.
Note: If you need to review a contract, a proposal, or an invoice, you can still do so without having to open the lead/event. The tools listed on the Left side of the navigation bar will let you view all current and archived contracts, proposals, and invoices- you just might need to use the Advanced Settings to find the archived items.
How Do I Reopen a Closed Lead?
- First, go to the Leads tool, then click on the "Advanced Search" to open up more options.
- Add the lead name and in the "With Status" section, select "All".
- Then click "Search!
- When you see the lead you are looking for, click the "Action" button, then click "Re-Open".
This will turn this lead into an active lead once more. You'll be able to view it with your other active leads and click into it to gather information or continue working on it.
How Do I Reopen an Archived Event?
If the Event was archived more than 2 weeks from the date you are looking to reopen, then you can:
- First, go to the Events tool, then click on the "Advanced Search" to open up more options.
- Add the event name and in the "With Status" section, select "All".
- Then click "Search!
- When you see the lead you are looking for, click the "Action" button, then click "Re-Open". You'll find it in your active events!
If the Event was archive less than 2 weeks from the date you are looking to reopen, then you will need to reach out to our support channel and they can open this back up for you! Just email us at support@planningpod.com and give the event name and event date!
