Within your Planning Pod account settings, you have the ability to add and manage lead sources. It is of vital importance to track where your leads are coming from in order to spend your marketing dollars wisely, as well as give credit to those providing you with referrals.
Your account is pre-populated with a handful of lead sources already, but you can also customize your lead sources to fit your individual business. For example, if you have a certain vendor or venue that provides you with a large number of referrals, you can enter them as an individual lead source. This allows you to report specifically on where your leads are coming from and how you're closing them.
To Add a New Lead Source:
- Click on your name in the main navigation menu > Settings.
- Select Lead Sources (under the Lead Management heading).
- Type the name of your lead source in the Create New Lead Source field and hit "Save New Lead Source".
To Edit/Delete Existing Lead Sources:
- Click on your name in the main navigation menu > Settings.
- Select Lead Sources (under the Lead Management heading).
- To edit, select the pencil icon to the right of any existing lead source. To delete, select the trash can icon.
